DRIFFIELD WOLDS LAUNCH TRAIL AT HULL MINSTER
As part of the City of Culture celebrations, Driffield Wolds has devised a Children’s Trail for Hull Minster. This has been made in collaboration with the Minster and is now available for all visitors. The trail is aimed at 8-12 year olds (and their parents) and highlights items of importance to Hull as a city and major seaport over the centuries. The trail begins at the font (where William Wilberforce was baptized) and takes the children on a journey through many of the artefacts, both architecturally and historically, of Hull.
This is the seventeenth trail to be launched in the North East Area and joins ones at Burton Agnes, Sledmere, Walkington and Paull in the East Riding of Yorkshire and others in Yorkshire based in Helmsley, Thirsk, Boston Spa, Richmond and Leeds.
