We were delighted to receive a fascinating talk from Radio 3's Sandy Burnett. His subject was Bach's Christmas Oratorio, a fitting festive end to our year of lectures.
An entertaining and informative lecture where Sandy looked in detail at the original music score and, at one point, even had the audience singing along - in German!
The photo of Sandy (fourth left) with some of our committee is courtesy of Mike Hopps, Driffield Wolds Weekly.
Sandy is shown (below) taking questions from the audience with our chairman Ann Bernard.
