Last Remaining Tickets for Drawing Room Discussions
29 Nov 2017
Join us on 5th December, as Arts writer for The Guardian, Maev Kennedy introduces an evening of curated talks around the theme of Magic. Within the intimate and opulent setting of the Royal Over-Seas League's Drawing Room, three exceptional Arts Society speakers will offer their unique insights into this enchanting subject. Enjoy a relaxed evening in a comfy armchair with a complimentary cocktail, whilst the speakers recount stories of Charles Dickens – the accomplished conjurer, discuss moonlight and mortality within painting, and reveal forgotten Egyptian spells.
Drawing Room Discussions is a new events series hosted by The Arts Society & ROSL ARTS; both dedicated to supporting creativity and enriching lives through the arts. We invite a prominent cultural figure to curate an event based on a theme that truly captivates them. This is a unique opportunity to gain an insight into the interests and passions of the cultural figures that inspire you, by better understanding the topics that inspire them.
