Discovering Peterborough with an Arts Society Trail

The Arts Society in Peterborough have created a circular Trail of Discovery which exhibits the city’s rich history and works of art.

Peterborough has a rich history spanning over 10,000 years, from prehistoric settlement to a modern urban centre, shaped by its strategic location, religious institutions, industrial growth and post war urban planning.

This trail encourages visits to both the museum and the cathedral which contain a host of wonderful art work and other historical artefacts.
