Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic update March 2020

With the current Government coronavirus guidance in mind, you will not be surprised that we will have to cancel the lectures until further notice. This is clearly disappointing for all of us but we all now understand the significance of the current virus pandemic and the measures that we all need to observe.
The lectures planned for April, May and June will no longer take place and the trip to visit the Penzance Jewish Cemetery will also be cancelled.
In each case we hope that the cancellation will hopefully be followed by a new rescheduled date once the situation has eased. It should be relatively easy to set up a new date for the Jewish Cemetery and the three lecturers will be asked if they can come down instead in 2021.
Another casualty sadly is the Summer Party which is always greatly enjoyed by members in July and the date for the trip to Pencarrow House and Gardens in September is on hold for now.
If the situation changes at all we will of course keep you informed and the plan is to continue with the monthly Arts Buzz newsletter as normal, and do keep an eye on here for any updates.
