Celebrating a year of achievements at Haworth Hall

On the 5th of July, the NW Area Team, along with over 30 Chairs, Vice Chairs, and Presidents of Art Societies across the North West, gathered to celebrate their collective achievements at the stunning Haworth Art Gallery in Accrington, Lancashire.
This beautiful venue, famed for housing the internationally renowned Tiffany Glass Museum and artists' studios within its historic former stables, was designed by architect Walter Brierly and stands as Lancashire’s finest Arts and Crafts House and garden.
The day commenced with an inspiring tour of the gallery and the glass museum, guided by one of the knowledgeable curators who shared fascinating insights into some of the more remarkable pieces. Following a delightful two-course lunch, attendees were treated to a captivating lecture by the acclaimed artist and lecturer, Brian Healey, who enthralled everyone with his deep knowledge of the history of Tiffany glass.
Gratitude is extended to Sue Brake and the North West Area team for organising such an inspiring and memorable day.
Here's to another year of creativity and collaboration!
