Basingstoke Member wins Fred. Olsen Cruise
8 Feb 2019
We are delighted to announce that the Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines competition has been won by Arts Society Basingstoke Member, Gill Waller.
Gill travelled to The Arts Society House in London on Thursday 7th February to receive her cruise prize certificate. She is pictured here with her husband Ron, CEO of The Arts Society, Florian Schweizer and Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, Sales Manager for Groups, Ellie Fulcher.
Gill comments:
"I was so delighted to find out that I'd won and couldn't quite believe it at first. I've never won anything like this before! This will be our first cruise. We’re really excited.”
Sailing in an ocean-view room for 14 nights aboard the Boudicca, the Baltic cruise departing from Dover on the 1st July 2019, will take in both the Estonian Song and Dance Festivals, and Rotterdam's North Sea Jazz Festival. It will also sail to St Petersburg - with attractions including the State Hermitage Museum - and on, through the Stockholm Archipelago, as it approaches the Swedish capital.
With relaxing days at sea, the cruise benefits, too, from having The Arts Society Accredited Guest Lecturer Professor Anne Anderson on board, who will give a series of talks and host a shore tour.
It’s not too late to book a place on Fred. Olsen’s Baltic cruise; for details and to view all upcoming Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines / Arts Society Tours please click here.
