THE ARTS SOCIETY CHESTER'S TRIBUTE TO TRENA COX - CELEBRATING A LEGACY OF STAINED GLASS ART
13 Nov 2024
The Trena Cox Project, supported by The Arts Society Chester and inspired by artist Aleta Doran—current artist-in-residence at Chester Cathedral—celebrates the work of Trena Cox, known for her beautiful stained glass windows featuring daisies. With around 100 of her windows gracing Chester and the Wirral, Aleta teamed up with Morag Scargill and the Art Doctor to hold ten creative workshops where participants crafted daisy-inspired artworks in Cox’s style. The daisies were showcased outside Chester Cathedral, and a special bench decorated with these floral creations now sits proudly in Chester Country Park, with The Arts Society Chester helping bring this tribute to life.
