The Arts Society Ashford celebrates 40 years

The Arts Society Ashford celebrated its 40^th birthday recently with a special cake to mark the occasion, baked and decorated by long-time Programme Secretary and Young Arts Coordinator, Jane Brentnall.  Chair Christine Hughes is seen here cutting the cake with L to R Arts Society members Suzanne Holloway, Sally Starbuck, Jane Brentnall and Derek Burles.  The Society has a thriving membership of over 210 people from all over the Ashford region, some of whom were there right at the start in 1984.
