See the world through Hockney’s eyes

David Hockney’s immersive high-tech exhibition Bigger & Closer (not smaller & further away) has now been extended until 1 October due to popular demand. Featuring an original musical score, state-of-the-art projections that reach far overhead, and animations that reveal the creativity behind his image-making, this is the opportunity to enjoy some of the artist’s greatest works of art like never before.

Celebrate the summer solstice wherever you are

Mark the longest day of the year on 21 June with Stonehenge’s online Skyscape website, courtesy of English Heritage. You can get up close to the sarsen stones and follow the movements of the sun, moon and planets, thanks to a mix of near-live footage and digital composites that track their locations. This clever zoom-in view was made possible thanks to a custom-powered camera equipped with a 220° fisheye lens, bringing the ancient site closer than ever before.

Discover the art of wildlife photography

A new podcast from PhotoWILD Magazine shares the secrets of wildlife photography, with hosts Jared Lloyd and Annalise Kaylor.
