Get printing at Ruthin Craft Centre

The Ruthin Craft Centre in North Wales is offering some fantastic beginner printmaking courses. These include an introduction to screen printing with local illustrator and printmaker Rhi Moxon, winner of Tŷ Pawb’s Print International 2019 and the Eirian Llwyd printmaking award in 2017 and known for her joyful, colourful works. This one-day workshop gives participants the chance to learn about the process and create their own screen print. Old clothes or aprons are a must!

London’s Serpentine has released new episodes of its podcast, REWORLDING, exploring the ways in which we can connect with nature and learn about the world around us, through the lens of art. Hosted by broadcaster and creative director Gaylene Gould, the podcasts also examine how artists can help reimagine existing worlds and create new ones. Expect deep dives into the fascinating Serpentine archive and conversations with top contemporary artists, including Tai Shani, Es Devlin and Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster.

Catch tulip fever at Arundel Castle

The Duke of Norfolk’s Sussex castle reopens on 1 April and is well worth the trip, not only for its beautifully preserved interiors and sizeable art collection but for its fantastic gardens. The grounds feature magical follies and, in summer, stunning displays of roses, but now, in spring, there is the spectacle of its magnificent tulip festival. With over 60,000 bulbs and upwards of 130 varieties, this riot of colour is a must-see for any flower enthusiast.
