We have an exciting and varied programme for the 2025-26 season commencing on 10th September 2025 with a lecture by Dr Antonia Gatward-Cevizli entitled Shopping on the Rialto in Renaissance Venice

We continue to be pleased to welcome Visitors/Guests (as well as Members) to our lectures for a small fee, £8, payable at the door.

Our second lecture of the new season is on Wednesday 8 October when Dr Justin Reay will be giving a talk with the lengthy title of Sensation & Sensibility: Depictions of the Industrial Age & The Enlightenment by Joseph Wright.  By coincidence, just one month after our lecture on the work of Joseph Wright, a special exhibition called Wright of Derby - From the Shadows opens on 7 November in the Sunley Room of the National Gallery.
