We meet monthly, on a Tuesday morning, to enjoy lectures given by nationally renowned experts who share with us their specialist knowledge of the Arts in a stimulating and entertaining way. We encompass a wide range of subjects such as fine art, sculpture, architecture, ceramics, performing arts and many others.

In addition, we arrange a Special Interest Morning every year when we take time to explore a topic in more depth in the company of a leading expert.   
   
We also enjoy three or four visits each year to places of interest such as stately homes, gardens, museums and galleries. We usually organise at least one short cultural holiday each year in the UK or abroad, for example to areas around places as varied as Belfast, Bologna and Bournemouth. 
   
Additionally, we work in the community,  sponsoring “Young Arts” projects, often in schools or with groups such as beavers or brownies.

Currently we have around  250 members from Ashtead and surrounding areas.

Meets at: Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall, Woodfield Lane, Ashtead, KT21 2BE on third Tuesday, every month except August and December when we have a special festive evening event.  Doors open at 09.30 for coffee, lectures at 10.30.
