Welcome to The Arts Society Runnymede

Note - new venue from October http://wraysburyvillagehalls.co.uk/

Runnymede is one of the original members of The Arts Society. For more than 40 years, Runnymede has been hosting some of the art world’s most eclectic and diverse speakers, from the established to the cutting edge, all in an informal and friendly atmosphere.

Whether it is Grayson Perry or Charles Dickens, the Runnymede programme is as diverse as it is fascinating. Runnymede’s aim is to spark enthusiasm in even the most sceptical visitor, prompting members to delve deeper into the subjects.

Lectures are never dull – acclaimed, AS-accredited speakers from the world of television and academia bring the artistic world to life. There’s no waiting list, the first taster lecture is free and the group always welcomes new faces.

Runnymede offers far more than just the monthly programme: study and special interest days; visits to places of interest, including the theatre; and current volunteer projects. Meet new friends with similar interests and learn something new every month. We welcome visitors & guests at all meetings, just turn up and seek out our 'Welcome Desk'.  For full details of all activities, meeting dates and travelling to where we meet please visit our website  http://www.theartssocietyrunnymede.org.uk/
