Welcome to The Arts Society North Bucks

The Arts Society North Bucks was launched in 2009. We have about 220 members and enjoy a lively and varied programme of monthly lectures, together with two Special Interest Days and external visits.  In normal (non-Covid) times, we meet on the second Thursday of each month (except in July and August) at Lovat Hall in Newport Pagnell.  Coffee is served from 10.15am, chairman's notices are at 10.50am, and the lecture, lasting for about an hour, is at 11.00am.

Members of the Society come from the many towns and villages in North Bucks, including the largest, Milton Keynes, Olney and Newport Pagnell.  Guests and potential new members are very welcome: contact Elaine, our Membership Secretary (see email address below) if you are interested. For a modest annual subscription, you can attend as many lectures as you wish

STOP PRESS October 2021:  During the Covid-19 outbreak, we have held successful lectures and Study Days using Zoom. Our lectures in October and November 2021, listed below in EVENTS, will  also be on Zoom. However, we are delighted to announce that from December 2021 onwards, our lecture meetings will revert to our normal live venue at Lovat Hall, Newport Pagnell. You can now view our lecture programme up to June 2022 in EVENTS below.

The planned performance by the Rhubarb Theatre Company (see News), funded in part by our donation to FoLiO, has now been rescheduled for 21 May 2022.
