Michelangelo considered himself primarily a sculptor we find out how he could also have found fame as a poet.
Michelangelo said ‘I paint with my brains, not with my hands’ – a dictum that is reflected in every aspect of his work. This talk covers his main works and artistic achievements in a comprehensive way - but also brings in some entirely original ideas and interpretations of my own that I have published internationally. Famous for his frescoes in the Sistine Chapel, and also known as an architect, Michelangelo considered himself primarily as a sculptor, his overarching aim being the search for perfection in the artistic reproduction of the human form. His poetic output was also significant and in fact he would have found fame as a poet had he never produced any art or architecture at all.
