Knole Sevenoaks

We had a wonderful viist to Knole

There is a wealth of amazing furnishings. To mention just a couple: the crimson spangled bed which dates from 1620 and a room that was furnished for James I. However, whilst it was certainly fit for a king he never visited Knole.

Other kings and queens do have connections with the property as is shown by the number of portraits.  Anne Boleyn however was harder to find.
