Join The Arts Society Mallorca for a fascinating, amusing and insightful presentation by Robert Davis MA MBE DL, reflecting on his distinguished tenure as Lord Mayor of Westminster and his many years shaping arts and culture in Central London.

Robert’s stories include dining at Buckingham Palace with Nelson Mandela and Her Late Majesty The Queen, travelling to Norway to cut down the Trafalgar Square Christmas Tree and even appearing in a Spice Girls video. Offering a fascinating glimpse into life at the very heart of the British establishment, Robert will share his experiences of meeting members of the Royal Family, Prime Ministers, international royalty, and world leaders.

As Westminster Council’s Cabinet Member for Development as well as Arts & Culture, Robert also played a leading role in shaping the arts in central London. So, he will also take us on a journey through London’s vibrant cultural landscape, highlighting his involvement in major cultural projects including the delivery of two new West End theatres, collaboration on the redevelopment of the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden and championing London as a global showcase for theatre.
