The Dorman Museum holds the world’s largest public collection of work by the pioneering Victorian designer Christopher Dresser (1834 – 1904). The collection includes hundreds of pieces featuring his revolutionary metalwork, glass, and the largest collection of Linthorpe Art Pottery designed by Dresser (Art Superintendent) between 1879 and 1889.
This Special Interest event, 10:30 - 12:00, complements last November's study day on Dresser and includes a guided tour led by the Curator, with special access to items not on display. Parking and refreshments are available on site.
