Walking in the footsteps of Leonardo da Vinci

As part of our Meet the Artist programme, The Arts Society Mallorca invites you to a special evening in conversation with Jeannine Cook, the renowned and highly celebrated metalpoint artist.

The evening will begin with an introduction to the fascinating and unusual history of metalpoint, followed by an opportunity to view the 30 works on display.

Jeannine is one of only a few artists worldwide specialising in this rare and remarkable medium. Her work has received international recognition across Australia, Japan, the USA, and Europe, and is held in prestigious collections including the British Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Western Australian Museum, and here in Mallorca at the Consell de Mallorca.

Her passion lies in exploring the natural world through this delicate, shimmering art form.

Join us for an inspiring evening discovering the beauty and history of metalpoint—an artistic practice dating back nearly 2,000 years.
