Palma’s historic royal palace next to the Cathedral

Discover the Royal Palace of La Almudaina (Palau Reial de l’Almudaina), one of Palma’s most important historic landmarks, located right next to the Cathedral.

La Almundaina Palace, across from La Seu incorporates features from the Roman, Moorish, Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance periods. Although built by Moors as a fortress atop Roman baths and waterworks, most of what we see today is the produce of the Kings of Mallorca, Aragon and, ultimately Spain. Now a primarily 14th and 16th century palace, it remains the official summer residence of the Spanish royal family. Tour highlights include magnificent Flemish and Spanish tapestries and a grand gothic hall that, even at half its original height, still has commanding views of the sea.

Join us and step into the rich past of Palma through this remarkable palace.
The visit will be followed by tapas in Palma.
