Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral elevated to Grade 1 listing (Visit 4th Nov)

Chester Arts Society members will have an early opportunity to visit a newly announced Grade 1 listed building in the autumn.  The Dept of Culture, Media and Sport has enhanced the listing of Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral to Grade 1, matching its Anglican counterpart.  Further information on this announcement here: https://liverpoolcityregion-ca.gov.uk/news/liverpool-metropolitan-cathed... .   The trip to both cathedrals takes place on 4th November.  Tickets on sale at Sept and Oct lectures. Details in 'Events' and 'Attachments'.
