This talk will immerse you in some of the architectural marvels of Istanbul. We will explore the iconic landmarks of Topkapi Palace, the Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque, and more. We will also think about the sultans who built these masterpieces, and also how they communicated ideas about themselves, their powers, and their place in the world.
This talk is preceded by our A.G.M. at 2.00 p.m. sharp.
