Throughout England's turbulent history there have been some stand-out women linked to the Royal Family - not necessarily Queens - but who have had a remarkable infuence on the history of this nation.
Janie Ramsay
Janie started her first antique shop in Tunbridge Wells in 1975. She later joined Sotheby’s at their Head Office in Bond Street, becoming a Director in 1998. On retiring from full time work in 2008, she continued work as a consultant until 2014. Having worked in the trade for c.40 years, Janie feels privileged to have spent her life in such an extraordinary trade.
