Our present king, his forebears and their artistic tastes.
The day will consist of a morning lecture, a light lunch, and an afternoon lecture. We will hear how Charles I started the Royal Collection, and how Charles II recovered much of what had been purloined. The afternoon lecture will compare our present King's predilections, and how they have added to the Royal Collection.
Tickets will be on sale at our September and October lectures. The price of the day's lecture is £35 per person. A light lunch will be served at 1.00 p.m.
