TAS Driffield Wolds visit the Bronte Parsonage
6 Jun 2026
On Wednesday 3rd June, members and friends of The Arts Society Driffield Wolds visited Haworth. Set in the stunning landscape of the Yorkshire moors, Haworth Parsonage was the home of the Bronte family and the place where Charlotte, Emily and Anne wrote their great novels Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall.
We were given fascinating insights into the life and times of the Brontes during a guided walk of the town by volunteer Paul Crossley and then explored the Parsonage with its extensive collection of manuscripts and memorabilia.
