NEWS FLASH! ANNOUNCING THE 2026 PROGRAMME

The Arts Society Marina Alta is pleased to announce the publication of the 2026 Programme of Lectures.  It features a curated list of stellar topics by accredited "Outstanding" authorities.  Leading the stimulating line up is Frank Gehry: Star Architect and The World's Most Expensive Art.  Music & Art in the Age of Vermeer and What Happened to the Fabergé Eggs After the Revolution? will entertain audiences with fascinating historical narratives.  Bertie Pearce is back by popular demand to enlighten audiences with the topic Theatre Design from Temple to Playhouse.  A presentation about American realist painter, Edward Hopper and famous Spanish artist, Joaquin Sorolla, wraps up the list of exciting events.

Lanie Geldert

Lanie Geldert is Vice Chair of The Arts Society Marina Alta. She authors Society e-journals on fine art exhibitions in Europe titled TASMA What´s On. Geldert´s art and architecture education includes formal studies at the Florence Academy of Art, and Latin American Studies at the University of Mexico. She garnered her Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Fine Arts at the School of Environmental Design, University of Colorado. She holds a Master of Business Administation from The University of Pepperdine, Los Anglese. She currently resides in Altea, Spain.
