Local Student Talent- The Arts Society Pantiles

12 Dec 2023

Using a grant from given from the Patricia Fay Memorial Fund, The Arts Society Pantiles has successfully completed their project of a public exhibition of student GCSE /IB and A level examination works from 2 local secondary schools: Skinners Kent Academy and St Gregory's Catholic School.

The objectives of the project were to promote and display the talent in the local student body in a public space where existing and potential students and their parents could view works presented and exhibited in a professional manner. The schools' Art and Design Heads of department were very appreciative . "Can we do it again next Year please?"

Both exhibiting students and students aspiring to exhibit in the future were able to benefit from the project, plus the schools themselves who received positive publicity. The grant enabled The Arts Society Patiles to create a project that was well received and beneficial to the arts in their local area hepling to fund framing and display of the works in the gallery

The Arts Society Pantiles also contributed significantly to bring this project to life, and promote the talents of the young artists in their local area.
