In 2024, The Arts Society Llandudno proudly supported two inspiring community initiatives that celebrated creativity and kindness.

Mosaic Magic with 1Compass Youth Project

Thanks to a £250 grant from The Arts Society Community Fund, the young people at 1Compass in Colwyn Bay embarked on an exciting creative journey — designing a vibrant mosaic art piece. Brimming with enthusiasm, they’ve been busy gathering materials and mapping out detailed plans for the artwork.

The project manager shared how this artistic endeavour is already making a meaningful impact on the young participants, fostering personal development and sparking inspiration across different areas of their lives. A Creative Christmas Gift

Using our own designated community funds, we spread a little festive cheer by assembling and gift-wrapping 50 art packs for children and young people. These were distributed through the Holyhead Food Bank and the St Vincent de Paul Society in Colwyn Bay.

We’re delighted to have partnered with these wonderful organisations, both of which play a vital role in supporting their local communities.
