CHRISTMAS SHOW AND TELL AT THE ARTS SOCIETY LLANDUDNO
9 Dec 2024
What a delightful afternoon we had, filled with fascinating stories and incredible treasures! The event featured a dazzling array of items, each with its own unique charm and tale. Among the highlights were exquisite Christmas decorations, including beautiful handcrafted pieces, ceramic snow babies, and even a model of the iconic Biltmore House.
We admired silverware such as a striking Russian plate and an Arts and Crafts dish, alongside a vibrant mix of beaded African jewellery, Middle Eastern artifacts, and art pieces. Other marvels included a petrified tree, a violin, first-day covers, sculptures, and books—all made even more intriguing by the personal stories shared by their owners about their significance and how they were acquired.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, Irene treated us to tea and seasonal goodies, creating the perfect opportunity for a friendly chat. Huge thanks to Carol for organizing such a memorable afternoon and to Irene for the wonderful refreshments.
