Arts Volunteering

Each year our Society considers ways in which we can help the local community. We do this under the banner of Young Arts.

Over the past years we have funded a whole school mosaic at Peartree Primary School, and organised and presented children's workshops in collaboration with Welwyn Garden Library.

For the past three years we have worked in partnership with Stanborough School, we are delighted to be associated with this local school. Following suggestions by the staff we have funded a painting workshop, supported a trip to Tate Modern and  paid for art equipment.

Most recently we enabled the school to purchase Gelli Print Presses and the Art Leader sent me examples of some brilliant art work produced by her students.
