The Halow Project is a charity which provides continuing education and life skill
development to young people aged 18+ with a wide variety of additional needs. Several
groups from Halow recently joined members of The Arts Society Guildford to complete Trails
of Discovery at Guildford Cathedral and Abbot’s Hospital. The trails, which had been created
previously for use by schools, were adapted to address any particular needs, and the groups
each spent an enjoyable morning learning about history, art, architecture and more.
The Art Society Glaven Valley has developed a neighbourhood trail around the village of Blakeney detailing its fascinating history, ancient and modern.
The Arts Society & RBA Star Students competition encourages aspiring young artists who are identified by The Arts Society's local Societies and whose artworks are entered for it. The RBA then selects the very best pieces for exhibition in London.
