This is a festive private guided tour of Rockingham Castle. No transport is provided so please make your own arrangements. There are two tours at 11:30 and 11:45. Please meet in the marquee 15 minutes beforehand. 

We will meet in the festive marquee in the courtyard and be transported back to Christmas Eve 1849 with candlelit trees, roaring fires and magnificent period costumes. The knowledgable guides will be dressed in beautiful period costumes of the Housekeeper, Butler, Governess or Footman and will share their experiences of how Christmas preparations were done in Victorian times. The atmosphere will be filled with the charm and warmth of the 19th century.

Refreshments and lunch can be purchased on the day. Reservations are not required.
