Welcome to The Arts Society Henfield
Thursday, May 23, 2019 - 11:00

Our second study day of 2019.

Linda Collins, our speaker for the day, was employed by the Historic Royal Palaces for more than twenty years will take us through this royal palace, taken from Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, by King Henry VIII, in 1529. King William III massively rebuilt and expanded the palace, destroying much of the Tudor buildings, but providing two contrasting architectural styles.

To complement this study day, we have organised a tour by coach to the palace on the 17th of July.

Tickets will be on sale at the May & April lectures, or please phone Stephen Wyman on 01273 494633. Prices to be confirmed.
