An all-day tour of 3 very interesting Churches in Norfolk, plus a short visit to a site run by English Heritage.
A tour by coach, led by well-know guide John Vigar. The tour includes visits to
- St Bartholomew, Brisley
- St Helen's, Gately
- St Margaret's, Stanfield
- The ruins of Bishop Losinga's 11th century church with moated castle in North Elmham.
There will be stops at the Brisley Bell, and the Elmham Tea Post for coffees/teas, and lunch at the Kings Head in North Elmham.
The cost for the day is £48.40, to include coach, guide, coffee, lunch and tea.

THE ARTS SOCIETY ACCREDITED LECTURER

Mr John Vigar
Professional ecclesiastical historian, author and broadcaster for over 35 years, John has visited and recorded over 13,000 churches in England and Wales. He is a trustee of the oldest church preservation society in Britain - The Friends of Friendless Churches. Formerly an employee of The Churches Conservation Trust, John has also served as Photographic Curator of The Kempe Trust and Hon. Secretary of The Ledgerstone Survey of England and Wales. In his spare time he has written 12 books, leads specialist church tours and is a tutor at Denman College.
