Welcome to The Arts Society Henfield
Monday, October 14, 2019 - 14:00
Henfield Hall
Coopers Way Henfield BN5 9DB

This lecture is preceded by our A.G.M. at 2.00 p.m. sharp

Our lecturer, James Taylor, will take us through the Russell Cotes Museum and Art Gallery, Bournemouth – originally a house, commissioned by Merton Russell-Cotes, as a birthday present for his wife Annie, and completed in the Art Nouveau style in 1901. In 1907, Annie donated the house and Merton his fine art collection to be a museum for the town of Bournemouth, now providing an eclectic display in a finely decorated setting.
