Kassia St Clair is a writer based in London. Her first book ‘The Secret Lives of Colour’ was a top-ten bestseller, was selected as Radio 4’s Book of the Week in 2017 and has been translated into twelve languages. ‘The Golden Thread : How Fabric Changed History’ is out now in the UK and was a Radio 4 Book of the Week and a Sunday Times Book of the Year. The research for the next book has begun. She is also a regular contributor to NPR’s Marketplace and has appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live, Woman’s Hour, Monocle 24, BBC Radio 5 Live and CNN. She gives talks about colour and the cultural history of textiles at international venues including the Dallas Art Museum, the V&A and Soho House.
