An insight into the lives and motives of some of the world's great artists.

John Fisher, a member of our society and a professional painter, offers an insight intot he lives and motives of some of the world's most famous artists through his own series of pictures, showing the very scenes where great art was created.

Mr John Fisher
John Fisher studied at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts. His initial occupation was as an illustrator for IPC press. Following this he taught at Winchester and Farnham schools of Art. He later became Head of the Department of Illustration at Ravensbourne College of Art and Design. In 1986 he began working with the Francis Kyle gallery in Maddox Street. He travelled widely in Europe and Asia producing works for one-man and group shows. During this period his work was exhibited at the Lincoln Centre, New York and the National Theatre. He has more than 700 paintings in private collections world wide. His last period with the Francis Kyle Gallery concluded with five one-man shows of writers’ rooms.
