Springfield Campus Mosaic
2 Jun 2017
North Wiltshire DFAS organised a Young Arts project involving local primary schools (Corsham Primary, Corsham Regis, St Patrick’s Catholic and Heywood Preparatory) to make a wall mosaic for the new Springfield Campus (Wiltshire’s first community campus, run by Wiltshire Council, housing library, leisure facilities, café and neighbourhood policing team) in Corsham.
Emma Leith, was selected from three artists to produce the mosaic with the children (and was helped by North Wilts DFAS members) following initial art and design sessions in the schools with Elizabeth Barnikel and Jenny Gilks of North Wilts DFAS.
A tea party was given for all involved to celebrate their achievement and to see it in-situ.
