You might have seen that in August The Arts Society will be running its first Lecturing Academy, a fully funded five-day residential training course offering opportunities for young people to develop and practise presentation skills based on our 50 years’ worth of experience. The Lecturing Academy is being held at the New Art Centre (Roche Court) near Salisbury.
We would like to invite local members to attend the 'graduation ceremony' on the final day, Friday 4 August, which will comprise the twelve participants giving a short presentation on an artwork on display at the New Art Centre. You might spot a lecturing star of the future!
The event is free to attend but interested members will need to book a ticket to secure a seat - the room has a capacity of 50. The event runs from 10am to 1pm on Friday 4 August and we are providing tea/coffee and biscuits. To book a ticket please click here to go to our Eventbrite booking page.
